Summer 2019

During the Summer 2019, we ran our program in La Línea de Concepción, Spain, partnering with the US Embassy, La Fundación Secretariado Gitano, and the mayor’s office. We trained 12 teachers for one week and then ran a 6-day STEM-robotics program for 30 girls, many from the Gitano community as well as 6 girls from Ceuta, the Spanish autonomous city on the north coast of Africa. We were fortunate to have been featured on Spain’s 24h TVE news channel as well as RTV Sol.
